Empowering schools to prioritise education
A flexible path to reintegration, aligned with DFE guidance
Reintegrating students into mainstream education is a journey, and Tute is here to support every step. Our flexible, high-quality provision ensures no child is left without access to education, while empowering schools to fulfil their responsibilities under Working Together to Improve School Attendance.
By providing seamless, personalised transitions, we help schools meet their duty to remove barriers to attendance and support every student’s journey back to school.

Supporting attendance,
reducing barriers
Instead of tying schools into long-term commitments or charge for unused seats, Tute puts flexibility first. Our model enables schools to act quickly, intervening early to prevent prolonged absence – just as the DfE guidance recommends. Schools only pay for what they need, when they need it, whether that’s for one student or many.

A bridge back to mainstream
Tute provides a structured pathway for gradual reintegration, aligning with the DfE’s expectation that schools support students back into education through proactive, tailored approaches. Our hybrid model reduces online lessons as students reintegrate, ensuring a smooth transition that fosters engagement and prevents further absence.
Empowering students for reintegration
Enriching reintegration with Steps to School
For students already accessing Tute’s provision, our Steps to School programme offers an additional layer of support. This enrichment programme helps students develop social skills, emotional resilience, and confidence – essential for a smoother transition back into mainstream education.
By addressing the challenges students face during reintegration, Steps to School complements our high-quality provision, ensuring students are not just academically prepared but emotionally and socially ready to thrive in their school environment. This aligns with the Working Together to Improve School Attendance guidance, which emphasises the importance of holistic support in maintaining engagement and preventing persistent absence.
Tute helps schools remove barriers to attendance, providing the flexibility, quality, and personalised support needed to ensure every student has the best chance to succeed.
Reintegration is about more than attendance codes
The DfE’s changes to attendance codes encourage reintegration into mainstream education, but focusing solely on these codes risks leaving students without vital learning. With Tute, schools can maintain their focus on education while navigating attendance requirements.
Short-term provision, such as ours, may not always align perfectly with attendance codes, but it provides an invaluable opportunity to keep students engaged and progressing. For the few days or weeks students spend in our provision, the trade-off between attendance rates and ensuring a child’s education is clear.
Our flexible, high-quality alternative provision bridges this gap, helping schools achieve meaningful outcomes while prioritising what truly matters: keeping students learning.
