 As Assistant Head of Teaching and Learning, responsible for curriculum at Tute Education, I bring extensive experience in curriculum development, quality assurance, and professional development in teaching and learning. After more than a decade in mainstream education, I joined Tute to reimagine how education is designed and delivered to provide a rich and purposeful experience for students. My career has been dedicated to driving meaningful improvements in teaching and learning, ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has access to a high-quality, inclusive education. 

Tute’s mission to fill critical gaps in education deeply aligns with my belief that every child deserves access to a curriculum that inspires and empowers them to achieve their potential. I am passionate about creating opportunities for students to thrive academically and personally, equipping them with the skills to succeed wherever they are. By working closely with local authorities, schools, and non-mainstream settings, I ensure Tute’s curriculum is inclusive, impactful, and responsive to student needs. 

Throughout my career, I have led strategies to improve curriculum design, refine assessment processes, and develop teachers, achieving measurable improvements in student outcomes and their confidence. I believe that learning is driven by connection, memory, and mindset, and that a well-designed curriculum fosters these elements in both staff and students. At Tute, we strive to make education accessible and life-changing for all learners. 

Leading Tute’s curriculum team, I ensure our curriculums meet national standards and exam board specifications, while continuously evolving to provide a rich, inclusive, and engaging curriculum. By managing curriculum leaders, I promote collaboration and consistency across departments, ensuring every lesson empowers students to succeed. Working closely with quality assurance, inclusion, and SEND teams, I uphold Tute’s commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. This collaborative approach strengthens partnerships with local authorities, schools, and non-mainstream settings, enabling Tute to fulfil its mission of filling critical gaps in education and helping every child achieve their potential through high-quality online learning​.
