The Department for Children, Schools, and Families state in their key findings that, ‘Parental involvement in children’s education from an early age has a significant effect on educational achievement and continues to do so into adolescence and adulthood.’  With increasing funding cuts in education, many students; particularly those with special educational needs and mental health challenges, are struggling to access the support they require in traditional settings. As a result, online learning has become an essential alternative, bridging the gap, and ensuring that every child has access to quality education wherever they may be. This growing need highlights the importance of supporting parents and carers, equipping them with the tools and guidance necessary to help their children thrive in an online learning environment. These insights reinforce our commitment to fostering strong partnerships with families.

• Dedicated role: We know that navigating online education can sometimes feel overwhelming, which is why our Parent Support Associate (PSA) is here to help. Whether parents need guidance on supporting their child’s learning, help with engagement strategies, or simply reassurance, the PSA provides tailored advice and practical solutions to ensure families feel supported every step of the way.  

• Comprehensive information: Our Parent and Carer Hub serves as a centralised resource, offering step-by-step guides, informative videos, and answers to frequently asked questions. This hub is designed to demystify online learning, providing parents with the tools they need to support their children effectively.  

• Personalised support services: We recognise that each family’s needs are unique. Our dedicated teams, including inclusion and SEND, safeguarding, operations, and IT support, are readily available to address specific concerns. By offering direct contact information, we ensure that parents and carers can swiftly connect with the appropriate team member, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritises student well-being.  

• Accreditation and quality assurance: Tute is committed to maintaining the highest standards in education and safeguarding, which is why we are actively working towards accreditation by the Department for Education’s Online Education Accreditation Scheme (OEAS). Achieving this recognition will reinforce our dedication to delivering high-quality, trusted online learning for students and provide parents with confidence in the support and education we offer.

Continuous improvement and feedback integration

We are a team that understand that the educational landscape is ever evolving. To remain at the forefront of online education, we actively seek feedback from parents, students, and partners. This collaborative approach allows us to refine our services continually, ensuring that we meet the diverse and changing needs of our learners.
