Tute exists to make available the very best teachers so as to help students maximise their potential. It will do this by enabling access to high quality teachers at any time, and by democratising education to ensure the best lesson content is available to all. As a result parents can engage in supporting their child’s education in conjunction with teachers, and students can take greater responsibility for their own learning path.

Tute will break down existing barriers and improve educational equity. Central to this vision is the development of the UK’s first social education platform, a place where teachers, students and their peers can engage online to collaborate and to relay teaching and learning excellence.

Online Tutoring Improves Accessibility

By delivering education online, Tute can improve accessibility and better ensure educational equity. Getting children into a high performing school is no longer such an issue as we make the best in teaching available via the Internet, removing geographic restrictions. This opens up new opportunities – students can now avail from national and international resources containing the finest teachers, and which offer a breadth of subject matters which would be impossible to replicate at a local level.

Involving Parents

High parental interest in child learning is associated with better exam results than for students whose parents show no interest. Children with very interested parents progress 15-17% more in mathematics and reading between ages 11-16.

Tute brings improved control and involvement to parents. Learning at home provides a stable, familiar environment. There is no bullying, no truantism, no unwanted distraction - parents can see that their child is properly focussed on the task at hand. Most importantly though, parents actively participate in their child’s learning, and can enjoy seeing their development.

A Range of Solutions

The services offered by Tute are simple, accessible and best in class.

We offer teaching online across numerous subjects and key stages. We have a unique social education service which allows the cost of tutoring to be shared amongst schoolmates and friends, driving the costs down to £5 per child and making tuition available to all.

We deliver tuition into schools to help supplement learning and to assist in intervention strategies as needed. Finally, we help parents by shining a light on how their child is taught at school, and to provide useful materials to help with home learning.
